About the toolkit, government applications and the R149 price.
The toolkit
What is included in the toolkit?
Four files: South African CV Templates (Word, four editable layouts plus a Z83 companion), a Cover Letter Pack (Word, six adaptable examples), an Interview Preparation Guide (ten-page PDF workbook) and a Job Application Tracker (Excel, four sheets).
Can I see the files before paying?
Yes. The toolkit page shows real pages from every file, and each file has a free two-page PDF excerpt you can download or print. Fictional details in examples are clearly labelled.
What do I need to edit the files?
Word files open in Microsoft Word, Google Docs or free LibreOffice. The tracker opens in Excel, Google Sheets or LibreOffice Calc. The interview guide is a PDF you can read or print.
How do I get my files after paying?
PayFast returns you to a private order page. Once PayFast confirms payment, four download buttons appear. You can also email yourself the order link. Keep that link safe: it gives access to your files.
Does the toolkit guarantee interviews or jobs?
No. The files help you prepare clearer applications. Hiring decisions are made by employers.
Government applications
Do you sell or supply the Z83 form?
No. The Z83 is an official government form and is free. We link to the official source so you always use the current version. Our toolkit includes original guidance that explains how to prepare it.
Can I submit a government application through this site?
No. Submit only through the email, portal or address stated in the specific advert. Our application pack builder (included with the R149 toolkit, with a free preview) helps you prepare your CV and checklist first.
Where do I find government vacancies?
On official sources such as the DPSA Public Service Vacancy Circular, provincial vacancy portals, ESSA and SA Youth. All are linked from our Government Jobs page.
Which documents should I attach?
It depends on the advert. Some ask only for a Z83 and CV at first and request certified documents later. Always follow the instructions in the advert you are applying to.
Is SA CV Studio linked to government?
No. SA CV Studio is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any government department.
The R149 price
Is R149 a once-off payment?
Yes. R149 once-off in South African Rand. There is no subscription.

Is the government application pack included?
Yes. The full application pack builder unlocks with the R149 toolkit, with no extra charge. Anyone can preview page one for free.
