Government vacancies · Free South African guide
Where to find genuine government vacancies.
There's no single list of every government job. Use these official sources and check them on a schedule.
- National: DPSA circular
- Provincial and municipal sites
- State-owned companies and agencies
- Free resource hub on our site
Official sources
- DPSA Public Service Vacancy Circular (dpsa.gov.za)
- Provincial government websites
- Municipality careers pages
- State-owned company career portals (Transnet, Eskom, SARS, etc.)
- SA Youth (sayouth.mobi) and ESSA (essa.labour.gov.za) for youth and job-seeker opportunities
Scam warning
Real employers and government departments never ask you to pay for a job, an interview, training or a 'registration fee' to be shortlisted. If someone asks for money or your banking PIN, walk away and report it.
