- Missing or wrong reference number.
- Unsigned declaration.
- Applying for a post when you don't meet the minimum requirements.
- CV that doesn't show dates (month and year) for each job.
- Sending to the wrong email address or office.
- Attachments in a format the department doesn't accept, or too large to send.
- Applying after the closing date.

Real employers and government departments never ask you to pay for a job, an interview, training or a 'registration fee' to be shortlisted. If someone asks for money or your banking PIN, walk away and report it.
